みなさん、こんにちは。ここ日本は２月２８日（金曜日）の午後１１：３５です。もうすぐ２月が終わります。今月は一度も更新していなかったのでギリギリですが更新します。間に合うかな？
このブログは私の好きなことを記録するブログなので手芸活動ではありませんが、私が以前からやっていることを紹介します。

私は以前から本や映画、音楽の歌詞などで気に入った言葉や教訓として覚えておきたい言葉などをノートに書き取る習慣がありました。更に日本の作家である（田辺聖子さん）の
「良い言葉に出会ったら花を摘むように摘む」という考え方が私に拍車をかけて現在に至るまで続いています。
現在使っているノートは数冊目です。このノートに最初に摘み取った言葉はこちら。⤵️
「命を捨てるくらいなら他のものを捨てなさい」
穏やかではない言葉ですが、この言葉を摘み取った時の私にとっては大事な言葉だと感じたんだと思います。
本などから言葉を摘み取るのですが、時々は誰にも言えない自分の気持ちを書いたりもしています。ですから、このノートは誰にも見せることはできません。😅
現在私は、今まで摘み取ってきた言葉やある状況下での自分の気持ちを書いたものを振り替えって読んでいます。現在のスランプから抜け出す答えやヒントがないかなーと思いながら。
あー、３月１日になってしまいました。。。２月は一回も更新出来ず残念です。😢でも３月１日に３月初めてのブログを書けたって事で良しにします。

I am sure you will find many wise words to put in it.
Collecting words of wisdom and beauty is a good habit. We can learn so much from others as well as from ourselves. By re-reading what we wrote many years ago, we can see how we have matured or developed or if we have changed our attitude.
By reading the diaries I wrote in my teens, I could understand my teenage students and their feelings. These journals have been so useful.
I wish you all the best for March and spring. Let nature take its time and do what you feel is comfortable.

Hi Toki, nice to hear from you again! Collecting words is a wonderful hobby. I am glad this is something you enjoy doing, even though you are in a slump with your blogging and crafting. Hopefully you'll come back to it soon!
Sweet Toki: This is a lovely post, what a wonderful idea to write the words you like and have meaning to you.
As for a slump, when this happens to me, I think back to the best times I have had in my life, I have some I think about when I get down, the day I got married brings me such joy, everyone getting together to celebrate a new life for Michael and myself, plus many other past experiences. I am sure you have many also.
I am so sorry about the late post it has been very busy here.

Hi Toki: This is a wonderful idea to reuse the cover, I like reusing
items I have and not throwing away what can be used in some other way.

So late to read blogs, I love your post! So interesting, words are important to me too. No journal but a lot of lists and my new interest in "Junk Journal" making will lead me maybe to write more! Thanks for sharing. xxx
