みなさん、こんにちは。今年初めてのブログです。
２０２５年１月１日に私のブログは２歳になりました。🙋 ２年も続くとは・・・。 これからもマイペースではありますが続けていきますので、応援やアドバイス、コメントを宜しくお願いします。
新しい年になってから私は未だ針と糸に触っていません。今は語学学習と靴下等の毛玉取りをしています。何故かステッチに気が向きません。でも私の中の何処かに「ステッチをやりたいスイッチ」があるはずなので、今はスイッチがONになるのを待っている状態です。自分で自分をコントロール出来ない状態を私自身もとても不思議に思えてなりません。
みなさんのブログにお邪魔して楽しんだりコメントを書く機会は増やしていきたいと考えています。私の２０２５年はスロースタートとなりましたが、みなさんにとってみなさんの大切な人達にとって新しい年（２０２５年）がより良き年となりますように心から願っています。
カリフォルニアの大火災により亡くなられた方々のご冥福をお祈り申し上げます。また、被害に遭われてしまった方々に心よりお見舞い申し上げます。そして、今この時も戦争や紛争で苦しんでいる方々が１日でも早く安心して生活が出来るようになることを強く願っています。

I have been following your language learning progress on Duolingo and you are doing great!
I think many people get “stuck” with their stitching from time to time. When a project catches your interest, you will pick up the needle again.
You are in good company! I have done very little stitching, too. From time to time, we need to take a break from the needle and thread. Sure enough, you will feel the urge to stitch. I hope that day will come soon.
Congratulations Toki on two years of Blogging, it is such a pleasure to visit and see what you are working on.
You do not need to always post about stitching, somedays maybe just to say hello and give us an update on how the weather is or how things are going in your household, or if you find something interesting on the internet you want to share, I do that once in a while.
I have had periods where I do not want to stitch, it is called a slump, I have those many times a year, you will get your stitching bug back soon.

Wow, 2 years, I can't believe it's been that long! Congratulations!
What you are experiencing right now is also called 'losing your stitchy bug'. A stitchy bug is a quite ellusive creature and sometimes they get scared away. But it will come back and bite you and you will feel like stitching again, eventually!

Sometimes stitching something small helps me get my stitching mojo back, maybe it could help you too?
