みなさん、こんにちは。ここ日本は９月を終えて１０月に突入しました。（本日１０月２日）秋のはずですが未だ残暑が厳しい地域もあります。私が住んでいる地域は気温が上がったり下がったりを繰り返しながら本格的な秋になりそうです。きっと短い秋で直ぐに冬が到来するのだろうな・・。日本では「味覚の秋」と言われ、柿などの果物や秋野菜や魚が美味しい季節です。でも！でも！！でも！！！ 物価の高騰が止まらず気軽に買うことができません。😓庶民には厳しい秋となりそうです。皆さんが住んでいる地域の物価は如何ですか？秋に美味しい食べ物は何ですか？
さて。現在取り組んでいるステッチの進み具合を報告させてもらいます。まずはこれ。⤵️

デザインチャートの裏に書いてある説明を頑張って読みました。英文の説明を全て理解したとは思っていません。でも何とかなるだろうと思い、始めることにしました。とても美しいグリーンの刺繍糸からスタート。⤵️

今は上記２つのクロスステッチを毎日少しずつ進めています。どちらもカラフルで楽しい旅になりそうです。今後も旅の途中で報告させてくださいね。そしてゴールまで見守っていてください。

Nice to read your post today! I’m happy to see your stitching progress. I always like to start a new project - get the threads organized and study the chart, then finally putting the first stitch in the fabric. I hope you enjoy this project!

It is October here and very warm very unusual for Minnesota. The plastic bag idea is a good one for storage.

I am happy to read you are finding your energy again. Nothing is better than to have a goal and with two cross stitch projects and one meant for Christmas you are all set.
Yes summer in Japan was tough and autumn is not really here yet. I, too, think we'll have a short autumn and then all of a sudden winter will be upon us.
Prices have indeed increased! It is hard to pick up the delicate autumn goodies in the fruit and vegetable sections at the market and then having to put them back on the shelf again because of the price.

Autumn has arrived here as well! I am also a big fan. I like pumpkins and grapes and the cooler weather. Thankfully, at least pumpkins aren't too expensive yet!
